    Hello Atul,

I was wondering in the first video they talk about a “model” of a Writing Task 1, but the quantitiy of words is really high. The example is very helpful, but I just want to know if more than 250 words in the Task 1 would be ok ??
Perhaps it would be a good idea to point out that this is a perfect example, but it is defintely to long.

Hope my comments are ok and thanks for your response.

    Daniel,

    You are absolutely correct.
Although there is no upper limit for number of words, it is best to write between 150 – 180 words for Task 1, and between 250-280 words for task 2.

A good rule of thumb is that you should be able to write task 1 in 15 minutes and task 2 in 35 minutes so that you have enough time to check your work and fix any silly mistakes.

    Hope this helps.

    Atul.
