All this theory is great.. now lets try and write another letter and put it all in practice. Here's a sample Task 1 for you. Attempt it on your own first then look at the answer structure provided along with useful phrases and vocabulary that you could use in your answer.

You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You eat at your favourite restaurant every day for lunch. You do not like the decor they have chosen.
Write the manager a letter telling him:
- What you think is great about the restaurant?
- What things you think need to be changed?
- Suggestions on ways to improve the decor?
Write at least 150 words.
Tips for structuring your Answer
Start your answer with:
Dear (name),
State the reason for the letter:

Body of the Letter:
