The pie chart shows the amount of money that a children's charity located in the USA spent and received in one year.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given pie charts illustrate the sources of annual revenue and expenses by a USA based children’s charitable organization.
Overall, the major contribution in revenue was made by donated food, and most of the finances were spent on program services.
Majority of the revenue collected was generated by donation of food, which accounted for 86.6%. The contributions of the community and program comprised 10.4% and 2.2%, respectively. All the remaining sources, like government grants and investment contributed only 0.8% to the total revenue.
Also, a huge sum of money (95.8%) was consumed by program services, whereas just 2.6% and 1.6% of the total expenses were spent for fundraising and management and general services.
To sum up, less than a quarter of revenue was raised by donations from sources other than food which may be explained by the amount spent on fundraisings by the charitable organization.
