How are IELTS Band scores calculated for each module?
IELTS Listening Band Score Calculation
IELTS Listening band scores depend on how many correct answers you get in the listening module. There are no negative marks in IELTS so only your correct answers are counted for calculating your band score in the Listening section. The approximate band score calculation is as follows:
Correct Answers (out of 40) | Band Score |
16 | 5 |
23 | 6 |
30 | 7 |
35 | 8 |
