You are going on a short training course at a college in Greenmount, Northern Ireland. You need somewhere to live while you are there.
Write a letter to accommodation officer at the college. In your letter:
- explain your situation
- describe the accommodation you require
- say when you will need it
Write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir,
I am one of the students who would be pursuing the three month IT training course at the University of Minnesota in Greenmount, Nothern Ireland. I am writing to request accommodation during the course anywhere near the campus.
I am looking for a single bedroom apartment. I specifically need in-house laundry. I am also good with a double bedroom apartment as long as there is a female roommate. However, I am not willing to share the place with undergraduate students. I prefer someone in post-doc level. Apart from this, I would like the roomie to be clean and organised. I prefer an apartment within walking distance of the campus, as I do not have a car.
I plan to move in early November. The dates of the coursework have been mentioned as November 25th to February 25th. Thus, I am requesting accommodation from November 1st to end of February, which is a total of four months.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Jane Doe.
